ASTP has entered a partnership with COPENMIND, a large scale conference and exhibition, which we believe will be of great interest to our members. Please find more information about this spectacular event and a special ASTP reduction offer enclosed.

ABOUT COPENMIND
COPENMIND is a groundbreaking new initiative focusing on facilitating the sharing of knowledge, research and technology between leading universities and companies on a global level at an annual exhibition and conference. It enables an intellectual match-making between more than 100 university exhibitors and 4000 company representatives!
The annual COPENMIND exhibition and conference will be held on 1 – 3 September 2008 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Each year COPENMIND will address a new important global issue concerning technology transfer and research partnerships. The topic for this year is “Cleantech” (Clean Technologies).
  

ASTP AND COPENMIND

The COPENMIND ambition is closely connected to that of ASTP: to promote technology and knowledge transfer between the European science base and industry and the ASTP board therefore strongly supports the initiative.

In order to create synergies between the two events and to increase the effectiveness of your visit to Copenhagen ASTP has decided to team up actively and to host its second Course round in Copenhagen on the 3^rd-5^th of September 2008 besides the regular Fundamentals of Technology Transfer another course on senior level will be offered: topic to be announced in March / April.
 

SPECIAL ASTP OFFER
ASTP has negotiated a special offer for members who would like to participate as exhibitors with their own booth at COPENMIND:

Booth rental charges
To all exhibitors, COPENMIND offers a 10% reduction in all booth rental charges until 29^th of February 2008.
For selected partners, including ASTP members, an extra reduction will be made for universities wishing to rent an 18m2 booth. If this is the case, the university only pays the price of a 9m2 booth. This offer is valid until the 15^th of March 2008.

Participant Fees
If you wish to be a participant only, COPENMIND has offered a 20% reduction in price for a COPENMIND ticket, which gives access to the exhibition floor and conference. To get the 20% reduction in the price of participation, please use the enclosed participant registration form.
