In 2001 the board introduced a third activity to increase the range of ASTP activities and the involvement of the ASTP-membership. One-day Workshops are organised and hosted by members (under supervision of ASTP) on topics of specific interest to the daily practice of the ASTP membership. The aim of the ASTP Workshops is to provide a forum of no more than 20 attendees (on a first come, first serve basis) for an interactive discussion of issues surfacing in the practice of academic Technology Transfer Offices. We will use real cases as a starting point for discussions and for the exchange of good (and bad) practices. Workshops are characterized by a ‘fly-in, fly-out’ principle with low costs.
