Membership Information

 

Membership is open to all individuals who are involved in the transfer of knowledge, science and technology, either as Academic member (individuals within universities, academic hospitals and non-private research institutes) or as Business Member (any other professionals outside public institutions, involved in transfer of knowledge, science and technology). 

Individual membership

 

ASTP membership is open to individuals who are involved in the transfer of science and technology.

 

There are two types of individual memberships:

Academic members are individuals within universities, academic hospitals and non-private research institutes.

Any other professionals not employed at universities, academic hospitals or non-private research institutes but who are involved in the transfer of science and technology can apply for a Business Membership.

 

The annual fee for members follows the calendar year and is as follows:

Academic membership:       € 195*

Business  membership:        € 295*

            * ex 19% VAT (according to the Dutch Tax Law)

 

If you would like to join our Association please complete the Membership Application Form (including signature) and return it to ASTP by post or fax (fax-number +31 70 392 63 75).

After the board has approved your membership you will be registered as an Academic or Business member. A welcome letter will be sent to you with an invoice and a Membership Directory.

 

The membership will be continued automatically for the next calendar year, unless written notice is given to the Secretariat (secretary@astp.net), at least one month proceeding to the new calendar year.

 

 

Institutional membership

 

Members employed at the same organisation / institution can apply for an institutional membership, with the following discount offered:

Number 4 and 5	90 %	€ 175,50	€ 265,50
6 or more	75 %	€ 146,25	€ 221,25

 

Institutional membership can only be applied for a new calendar year by sending an e-mail to the Secretariat (secretary@astp.net). As soon as the institutional membership is established by approval of the board, one invoice will be sent to one and the same address.

 

 

Corporate Sponsorship

 

For € 7500 a year companies / institutions, approved by the board, can corporate with our Association. In return they will be offered the following:

 

General

• Two individual memberships
• Link and advertisement on the ASTP Website
• Full page advertisement in the Membership Directory
• Exclusive right to host an in-company expert meeting for ASTP members

 

Events

• Exhibition booth at each event
• Logo and reference to your website in annual conference- and seminar brochures
• Including information in conference and seminar materials
• One free entrance ticket per event, incl. the social programmes
• Acknowledgement of your organisation at the annual conference and seminar
• Pre registration list of participants of ASTP events (excl. email addresses and except for delegates who do not approve. ASTP must review and approve sponsor mailing materials before providing).
